When a student from a non-EU country study in Ireland, he/she can work part time at the rate of 20 hours per week. During holidays, he/she can work 40 hours per week.

Student of Under Graduate Courses get a Post-Study-Work-Visa of one year after successful completion of the course.

Student of Post Graduate Courses get a Post-Study-Work-Visa of two years after successful completion of the course. 

When the time-period of Post-Study-Work-Visa is over, the student can apply for Permanent Residence if he/she is eligible to apply.

IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT POST GRADUATE STUDENTS DO NOT ENTER IN TO PART-TIME WORK BECAUSE THE COURSES ARE OF ONE YEAR DURATION ONLY, AND CLASSES WILL BE OVER IN SEVEN TO EIGHT MONTHS. THE SYLLABI OF PG COURSES ARE TOO CONDENSED TO COPE UP WITH, AND DEMAND A LOT OF TIME, CONCENTRATION AND HARD-WORK.

Very high grades of the course are required to get jobs with sufficient salary that is needed for Permanent Residence of Ireland after the expiry of Post-Study-Work-Visa.
